onths precipitation fell in the two weeks,November 2-15. At some stations the percentagewas even greater. Generally, this was one of the wettest Novembers of record. New record totals fell at some stationswhile at some others this was the wettest onlysince 1963. Precipitation over most of NewEngland ranged nearly double the normal to, at afew stations, about triple the normal. The accom-panying maps show the general distribution ofprecipitation, though all local variations can notbe shown on maps of this scale. The excess November precipitation served tobring the year-to-date accumulation to normal orabove nearly everywhere. The exceptions aremostly in the central portions of Connecticut andMassachusetts.
