| Description |
English: Clifton Bridge station (remains), 1987. View southward, towards Parson Street Junction and Bristol Temple Meads, on the Portishead branch passing through the Avon Gorge. The station was closed from 7/9/64 (goods 5/7/65), when passenger services to Portishead ceased, but the line remained open for goods until 1981. In December 2001 the line was revived for container trains to the Royal Portbury Dock and it is planned to restore the passenger service. |
