Description
English: Cliffe Ash, Golcar The building with the name on was, I believe, a fish and chips shop. The Colne Valley Museum is in a nearby weaver's cottage and the buildings on the left were also weavers' cottages. In the background is Heath House Mill before it lost its chimney.

The museum has examples of "wuzzing holes" and a tenter frame.

  • Image Description Error The above image description from the uploader is partially incorrect. The building with the name on, which was formerly a shop, is now the Colne Valley Museum See:- File:ColneValleyMuseum(RLH).JPG. The fish and chip shop was located in a separate building just off the right side of the image, on the main road, but has now ceased to exist.
