Nederlands: Objectgegevens Titel: Cliché van foto uit mei 1940 van toren en muren van deels verwoeste Laurenskerk, met de tekst “Groote Kerk” Herkomst: De heer W. Struik werkte als chemograaf in 1940-1945 bij Chemigrafia. Een onbekende fotograaf benaderde de mentor van de heer Struik (de heer J. de Groot, die huisvriend van de familie Struik was), om van zijn foto's cliché's te maken. De Groot maakte 's avonds na werktijd 'als overwerk' met Struik (destijds 17 jaar oud) de cliché's voor spertijd in februari 1943. Er zijn er circa 60 geweest. Struik maakte de afdrukken op stencils, waarvan er twaalf op één blad konden. De oplage was enkele honderden. In twee tot drie maanden is de oplage gedrukt. Deze werd door Struik gebracht naar adressen in Amsterdam, die gecodeerd werden doorgegeven (onder meer naar Schalkburgerstraat 9, Amsterdam; een Joodse middenstandsbuurt in Transvaalwijk). Struik maakte ook stempels en persoonsbewijzen waarvan de cliche's bij Chemigrafia werden gemaakt. Hij begon met verzetswerk nadat Joods personeel op een zekere dag niet meer op de zaak kwam. De aan Museum Rotterdam geschonken cliché's en foto´s bewaarde hij onder vloer van zijn huis.
