Votive Pin with Decorated Disc
Description
Silver and gold objects were usually made in northern Iran—not in Luristan. This pin, however, resembles bronze ones made in Luristan. The main subject on this pin is the master-of-the-animals, a man who grips one wild beast in each hand—a favorite ancient Near Eastern motif.
