Clee Hill

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Clee Hill Clee Hill has an irregular shape, so this famous landmark looks very different if you leave home, looking strange compared with the familiar skyline that is imprinted on just about everyone brought up in the area. Here is the dhustone ( a dolerite) scarp seen face on. This looks plain weird to me - just as the shape from the Ashfords would to someone from Bitterley.

Much of Titterstone Clee is quarried but the skyline was never breached.

The large common is bracken infested in the lower reaches and is grazed by Welsh Mountain sheep.
