English: Mr. Said Darar, chief of climatologic data for Djibouti, shows U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. David Giddens and U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Ricardo Trevino a pair of thermometers used to measure temperatures close to the ground at the Ambouli International Airport in Djibouti, Sept. 5. Giddens, a member of the Washington Air National Guard and native of Jacksonville, Fla., and Trevino, head of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa's Meteorological and Oceanographic Department and a native of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, were at the airport to install a high-frequency line-of-sight antenna that will allow Djiboutian weather forecasters to receive a steady stream of information from CJTF-HOA's AN/TMQ-53 Tactical Meteorological Observing System.
