Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Clayton Church, south wall frescoeast. On the south wall the procession continues, with St Gabriel halted in front of a cross, the symbol of judgement, with four angels. On the western end is a large beast from Revelations being ridden by a devil with a pointed beard and spiked heels, who is dragging back a figure by his hair while another is trampled underfoot. Beneath the southern angel is a group of lay people looking on. The lower tier is much damaged.
