Description

Cropped version of a badly faded postcard, found among Ted Claxton's postcard collection. It's a personal portrait made into a postcard, in the manner of a carte de visite. The identity of the sitter is William George Masters "Bill" or "Will" Petty (b.1888), the brother of Nellie Mildred "Helen" Claxton nee Petty. He is "Will", mentioned occasionally on the postcards.
