Dr. Rohde hat seine Kanzlei im ehemaligen Zentrum des Weltpelzhandels, dem Leipziger Brühl. Er stammt aus einer Kürschnerfamilie und vertritt noch heute unter anderem Firmen der Pelzbranche.
