Description
English: A Class 196 Civity of West Midlands Railway stands at Platform 6 of Shrewsbury train station, in Shropshire, England. At the time of this photo, these trains were brand new to the line, and Class 170 Turbostars were still in regular operation. Upon departure, it will travel to Birmingham, performing a regional route stopping a villages, towns and cities between Shrewsbury and Birmingham. Next to it, is a Class 158 of Transport for Wales, it is not known where it was going to travel to, but would most likely have been an express service to Birmingham International Airport.
