| Description |
English: Clarence House, North Street. Head south down Bond Street until you reach the end of the street this building is opposite. This building is the last remaining coaching inn that was built just as Brighton was becoming fashionable and being patronised by royalty. Built in 1785 as the New Inn and renamed in 1830 in honour of William IV, then the Duke of Clarence. It remained a hotel until 1972 and was empty until being converted into offices in 1979.
