Description
English: Clapper bridge behind The Smithy. The clapper bridge spans Malham Beck behind the old Smithy, from the Pennine Way on this side, to Chapel Gate on the other. It is reputed that the ironwork on the bridge was made by a former blacksmith, and in the centre he has placed a metal kingfisher - 629392. There is also a mouse on the right hand side - 629397.
