| Description |
English: Clapham (North Yorkshire) station, 1986. View NW: round the leftward curve is the main line to Wennington and Carnforth, also until 3/1/66 Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham: ex-Midland main line from Leeds, Bradford etc. via Hellifield and Settle Junction. Straight ahead until 1964 was the original line to Ingleton and Low Gill, closed to passengers from 1/2/54, to goods in 1/3/65. The building of lath and plaster is unusual, giving the impression of having been built much before its date of 1849 by the Little North-Western Skipton - Ingleton line.
