Cladonia sobolescens Nyl. ex Vainio, 1892 Photograph of a herbarium specimen. This specimen of Cladonia sobolescens was growing on soil, along a gravel road, in a field on the western side of the NE Branch of the Anacostia River Trail, about 0.25 mile S of the Paint Branch Parkway, College Park, Prince George's County, Maryland, USA (38o58.383' N, 76o55.295' W, Elevation 31 feet). Collected and identified by E.C. Uebel (No. U-506, 31 Mar 2005). |
