T-Junction between Main Street and Moor Lane, East Keswick

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The junction between Main Street (north to south) and Moor Lane provides a wide area, jokingly referred to as "City Square" in reference to City Square, Leeds, and the fact that it is the effective centre. The building in the centre is the Old Forge, once the Post Office, hence with a telephone kiosk and pillar box in front, now a private house. The building to the left is Wrays Cottage, which has the village clock, by Potts of Leeds. Photo looking northeast from Moor Lane.
