Summary
[edit]DescriptionCity Boundary near Swingate - geograph.org.uk - 616632.jpg |
English: City Boundary near Swingate This is probably the most isolated of the city's imposing cast iron boundary posts, at the outer corner of the protruding nib north west of Bilborough. Although marked on the 1:25000, this was no guarantee of its continued existence so I was gratified to find it is still there.
The marker carries the date (1933), the city name and coat of arms, and the word BOUNDARY on the lower band. |
