»). Interprétation fort peu scientifique.
Monument of the twelfth century, the lantern of the dead was placed originally in the center of the cemetery, near the Romanesque church. A light shone through the night at the top, in honor of the faithful buried in this place. Hollow stone tower is pierced at the top, six lancet openings. At its base, a small opening allowed to introduce a lamp that could be hoisted to the top by a pulley system and rope. |
