Summary
[edit]DescriptionCircum-zenithal arc in Pembrokeshire - geograph.org.uk - 1460123.jpg |
English: Circum-zenithal arc in Pembrokeshire Only a corner of the house roof to anchor the image to the ground but this rare meteorological phenomenon is worth recording: the arc is created by sunlight filtering through ice crystals in high cloud and is never more than a quarter-circle, in the direction of the setting sun, and right at the top of the sky, the zenith. |
