Questo termine (è stato fissato) dove l'aratro ha tracciato il solco, per ordine di Cesare imperator Santa Maria Capua Vetere - Anfiteatro Campano Queste pietre erano state piantate nel terreno, lungo la fossa che costeggiava le mura cittadine, verosimilmente con la parte iscritta rivolta verso la città, a segnare l'esistenza del sacro confine tra urbs e suburbium, ovvero tra la colonia romana ed il suo territorio. Il Caesar dell'iscrizione è stato identificato con il giovane Ottaviano. Datazione: 36 – 31 a.C. |
