Dim.: 6,5 x 5,5 cm (fentes, mouillures) Le portrait la montre coiffée d'un peigne de perles, assortie à ses boucles d'oreilles et à son collier, en robe blanche Empire à taille haute et collerette de gaze tuyautée, et d'un élégant spencer bleu à galon et boutons dorés, et frange de fine dentelle noire. On comparera ce portrait avec celui, moins flatteur, où la princesse figure en groupe avec la famille royale de Naples dans une miniature du château de Chantilly (OA 1460). Marie-Amélie de Bourbon, fille de Ferdinand IV/Ier roi de Naples et des Deux- Siciles, épousa Louis-Philippe, duc d'Orléans, futur roi de des Français. Cior, appointé peintre du roi d'Espagne et de la cour de Russie, peignit les têtes couronnées d'un bout à l'autre de l'Europe." [1] |
