O Cine Pax foi, em sua época, um dos maiores cinemas de Salvador, com lotação de de até 2.200 lugares. Foi inaugurado 29/10/1939, foi explorado pelo Círculo Operário da Bahia de Irmã Dulce e é propriedade da Venerável Ordem Terceira de São Francisco da Bahia. Encontra-se fechado e sem uso desde 1998.
