Description

Cinéma Rialto. Construction: 1923 / Raoul Gariepy et Emmanuel Briffa. Détail de la façade.

De style Beaux-Arts, sa façade rappelle celle de l'Opéra de Paris avec ses oeils-de-boeuf et sa lourde colonnade. Emmanuel Briffa a réalisé la décoration d'une dizaine de salle de cinéma à Montréal. Celle-ci est une des dernières de l'époque du muet encore intactes.
