Description
Français : Tombe de Miecislas (Mieczysław) Kamieński, au Cimetière de Montmartre à Paris 18e arrondissement, en France (5e division). Kamieński, jeune volontaire polonais qui mort en 1859 à la bataille de Magenta, a été statufié en 1861, au moment précis où il reçut l’impact de la balle, par le sculpteur Jules Franceschi (1825-1893), (Fonderies Eck et Durand).
English: Grave of Miecislas Kamienski in the Cimetière of Montmartre, Paris 18th district, France. Kamienski, young Polish volunteer who died in 1859 in the battle of Magenta, was statued in 1861, at the precise moment when he received the impact of the bullet, by the sculptor Jules Franceschi (1825-1893), (Eck and Durand casters).
