| Description | This image describes the trajectory of a non-homogeneous sphere. Due to non-homogeneous internal mass distribution, its centroid and its center of mass are not coincident. The black line indicates the trajectory of the center of mass while the red line indicates the trajectory of the centroid (rotating towards the center of mass). The purpose of this image is to present a ridig body that presents simultaneously wave and matter behaviors. This non-homogeneous sphere is used to model photons in mechanical models. |
