Description
English: A 1904 postcard illustrating a scene from a traditional Eastern European Jewish wedding. Underneath is the melody and words for the traditional melody "Chusen, kale, maseltow" (khosn, kale mazeltov, meaning groom, bride, good luck). In the background is a klezmer band and off to one side a wedding canopy (chupe) is being held up.
