Description
English: Churchill Pound, Worcestershire The term pound means an enclosure. The word has Saxon origins and is a place where straying or illegally pastured animals were confined. The Pound in Churchill was built in 1862 of English bond brick with sandstone coping. It was restored in 1966 and was Grade II listed in 1987.
