Description
English: Church of Our Holy Redeemer (captioned as "New Catholic Church" as an inset from a 1909 map of Freeport), Freeport, Long Island, N.Y., 1909. This 1909 drawing/etching would presumably have been based on design drawings for the church: in fact, the cornerstone was not laid until July 17, 1910, and the church opened for Easter Mass in 1911. This church at 37 S Ocean Ave, Freeport is still in use in 2018.
