English: Church of England parish church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Beckley. View of west end and tower. Jennifer Sherwood in the Oxfordshire volume of The Buildings of England states that it is a Norman church rebuilt in the 14th/15th centuries, with a 14th century tower. The porch with a wide arch was built about 1500. For view of the east end see 92039. |
