Summary

[edit]
Description

This was built as the Sunday school for the Wesleyan chapel at Rodley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Both buildings were designed by Alfred Hill Thompson and completed in 1871. In 1973 the chapel was demolished; its site became a car park. The school building has been converted into a chapel, which is now named the Church in Rodley.

Showing the present Church in Rodley, viewed from Wesley View. The original position of the Wesley view front door was where the stones are paler at the right hand end of the wall, level with the front bumper of the car.
