A movement in Chicago, endorsed byprominent leaders in many denominations,has for its object the restoration of the Biblein the public schools of that city.khamas mission. King Khama was successful in his missionto England. His country is to remain underthe direct government of the Queen, and heis to have the help of the British ResidentOfficer in his efforts to suppress the drinktraffic. THEN AND NOW. When I was at Lake Victoria eighteenyears ago, writes Mr. Henry M. Stanley,there was not a missionary there. Now thereare 40,000 Christians and 200 churches.The natives are enthusiastic converts, andwould spend their last penny to acquire aBible. A MEMORIAL WINDOW. Rev.
