Italiano: Chiesa San Lorenzo (Porto Venere, Liguria). Questo trave in cedro del Libano, con cavita praticatavi interiormente e ripiena di Sacre Reliquie, miste ad ingente tesoro, giunse a Porto Venere nell'anno 1204. Incerta la provenienza del prezioso trave, se portato da galea portovenerese dalla Palestina o da Constantinopoli, per sottrare il contenuto all'invasione musulmana, o gettato in mare da nave pericolante o per assalto piratesco. La chiesa conserva il preciso elenco delle reliquie ed oggetti contenuti nel trave redatto dal cardinale Durazzo nel 1644.
English: Church San Lorenzo. Porto Venere (Liguria, Italy). It is in this beam that the Madonna Bianca shown in the church should be found. Translation of the text : This beam in cedar of Lebanon, with a cavity inside containing holy relics and a considerable treasure came aground at Porto Venere in 1204. Its origin is uncertain : perhaps from Palestine or Constantinople, to subtract the contents from the Muslim invasion, or thrown overboard from a ship attacked by pirates. The church contains the list of relics and objects in the beam developed by Cardinal Durazzo in 1644.

Traduction du texte : Cette poutre en cèdre du Liban, avec une cavité creusée à l'intérieur contenant de Saintes Reliques et un trésor considérable est venu s'échouer à Porto Venere en 1204. Son origine est incertaine : peut-être de Palestine ou de Constantinople, pour soustraire le contenu de l'invasion musulmane, ou bien jetés à la mer depuis un navire attaqué par des pirates. L'église contient la liste des reliques et des objets contenus dans la poutre élaborée par le cardinal Durazzo en 1644. |
