Description

Chromis cyanea Poey, 1860 - blue chromis at a patch reef.

Blue chromis are relatively small, constantly swimming fish that have intensely dark blue coloration with a dorsal black stripe.

Classification: Animalia, Chordata, Vertebrata, Actinopterygii, Perciformes, Pomacentridae

Locality: Snapshot Reef, Fernandez Bay, offshore western San Salvador Island, eastern Bahamas
