English: Just over county road 207 from Cokeville Meadows NWR is the Christy Canyon Lek. This lek has had counts of 5 to 39 males during the peak of breeding season in 2011-2014. This year's count ranged from 19 - 21 males. These sage grouse migrate to wet zones and irrigated ground during the summer months and are often seen on the Etchverry tract of Cokeville Meadows from July through September most years.
