Opmerking: Gerard van Groeningen Omschrijving: Links op de achtergrond wachten zieken bij het bad van Betzata tot een engel komt om het water in beweging te brengen. Een man die al achtendertig jaar ziek is en niemand heeft om hem naar het water te dragen ligt rechts van het bad en wordt door Christus genezen. Christus geeft hem de opdracht zijn mat op te pakken en te lopen. Op de voorgrond loopt de genezen man met zijn mat op de rug langs de tempel. De farizeeën voor de tempel berispen hem, omdat hij op sabbat een mat draagt. Onder de voorstelling een verwijzing in het Latijn naar de Bijbeltekst in Joh. 5. Deze prent maakt deel uit van een album.
