Description
English: Christopher Rawdon Memorial Fountain The Christopher Rawdon Memorial Fountain is adjacent to the Holy Trinity Church, Breck Road.

The inscription reads: "Anfield Deph Trust - This property comprising playground and fountain and the cottages adjoining is given in memory of the late Christopher Rawdon of Elm House, Anfield by his widow for the benefit of the inhabitants of Anfield - 29th April 1877". The building behind was once a library, the cottages are no more and the grand Elm House was situated in Richmond Park, behind the library and was used by Mersey Regional Ambulance Service as HQ for many years. Christopher Rawdon was born 13th Apr 1780 in Halifax married Charlott Briggs in 1821 and died in 1858.
