Description
Christian Frederik Brorson (1768-1847) was a Danish priest and educator. Eckersberg also painted his wife Christiane Frederikke Caroline, née Hanson, and both paintings were included in the lot. The date of the paintings can be read from Eckerberg's diaries, November-December 1817.
