English: Published by the LA Times.

"The float entered by the Pasadena Elks shows Santa Claus (Joe Palmar) at the top of a chimney with a mother (Mrs. B. J. Kirst) and five children seated next to the fireplace and a reindeer standing at the front of the float. The float is on Orange Grove Boulevard, probably just south of the intersection with Colorado Boulevard.

The theme of the 1930 forty-first annual Rose Parade was "Festival Days in Flowers""
