Dansk: Et ”Christie” 3 manuals 8 rank pibeorgel med tilsluttet medspillende flygel, som oprindeligt blev opstillet i en biograf i London i 1927, kan ses og høres i Hornstrup Mølleby på Møllebyvej 16 (6 km fra Vejle centrum) og er her hovedattraktionen i samlingen af antik- og gammel teknik/mekanik.
Orglet trækkes af en 7,5 HK el-motor, vejer samlet vel 5 tons og installationen varede 8 måneder. Effekterne til stumfilm er stadig virkende. Et unikt musikinstrument!English: A "Christie" 3 manual 8 rank pipe organ with connected grand piano, which was originally installed in a cinema in London in 1927, can be seen and heard in Hornstrup Mølleby at Møllebyvej 16 (6 km from the center of Vejle) and is here the main attraction in the collection of antique and old technology/mechanics.
The organ is pulled by a 7.5 HP electric motor, weighs a total of 5 tons and the installation lasted 8 months. The silent film effects are still in effect. A unique musical instrument! |
