Description |
4,4 x 3,6 cm (oval). In vergoldeter Kupferfassung, rückseitig vergoldete Kupferplatte mit eingravierter Inschrift "Isabella / Dss of Manchester / Daughter of John / Duke of Montagu". - Provenienz: Wohl Besitz der Dukes of Manchester, Kimbolton Castle. In der Familie geblieben bis Alexander Drogo Montagu, 10. Duke of Manchester (1902-1977). Danach an den vorherigen Besitzer vererbt. Christie's, London, Auktion "The Collector" am 17. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalogue." |
