Description

Szene aus dem angeblich keltischen Epos Gesänge des Ossian, das in Wirklichkeit von dem schottischen Schriftsteller James Macpherson (1736 - 1794) geschrieben wurde.[1]

aus "Finan und Lorma" von Ossian: Migul ging einst auf die Jagd. In ihrer weißen Hand hielt sie den krummen Bogen und zwei graue Doggen folgten ihren Fußstapfen im Morgentau. Da sitzt sie nun auf ihrem Felsen, die Jägerin. Donner rollt über den Bergen und Tubar schäumt. Wie sollst du ihn überschreiten den Strom, dass Du erreichst das Heimatland, zitterndes Mädchen. Athos aber sah näherkommen die Schwester. Wohl wust er den Ort, wo zwei vorhangende Klippen sich fast berühren über den Strom. Eine alte Eiche breitete ihren Arm über die Kluft[2]
