GREEK CHRISTIANITY. 201 The name Greek Christianity should be employed in strictest ac-curacy to designate the type of thought and life developed under theinfluence of the Gospel, among those peoples which had been pre-viously molded by Greek civilization. As a matter of fact, how-ever, the expression is used as the equivalent of the Greek Church,whose full name is The Holy Eastern Orthodox Catholic ApostolicChurch.
