Built in 1928, this Gothic Revival and Art Deco-style building was designed by Barry Byrne and Bruce Goff for the congregation of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, founded in 1899.

English: Built in 1928, this Gothic Revival and Art Deco-style building was designed by Barry Byrne and Bruce Goff for the congregation of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, founded in 1899. The building features a buff brick exterior, brick piers, terra cotta pinnacles, terra cotta trim, hexagon and pentagon-shaped windows, decorative patterned brickwork, and a series of wings to the north and west that contain a parochial school. The building today remains in use as a Roman Catholic Parish Church, and is one of several Catholic churches designed by Byrne that feature similar design elements. |
