| Description |
English: Another of the fascinating Gun Maker's shops in Chowringhee. Chowringhee Road has now been named Jawaharlal Nehru Road. I really wonder if the firm still makes guns, for gun ownership is illegal in India. I strongly suspect it's just the shop sign being retained and painted over again and again for the historical value. (May 2009) |
