Description
English: A hanging scroll painted in 1885, depicting Buddhist priest Hōin and the corpse of the legendary yōkai Kanibōzu (“Crab Monk”), from which the deity Senju-Kannon rises. Owned by Chōgenji Temple in Yamanashi Prefecture.
