Juan Almaguer, a medic with Company A, 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, hands out candy to Afghan children during a patrol outside the gates of Combat Outpost Jannat, March 9. Almaguer, a native of San Bernardino, Calif., and his platoon were reaching out to the community, meeting with Afghan Local Police and passing out candy, which the local children refer to as chocolate. |
