Description
Français : Ancienne chocolaterie Menier à Noisiel (Seine-et-Marne, France) : le bâtiment de la nouvelle chocolaterie dit « la Cathédrale ».
Ce bâtiment en béton fretté fut édifié en 1906 par l'architecte Stephen Sauvestre, en collaboration avec l'ingénieur Armand Considère. Il est relié aux ateliers par le pont Hardi, passerelle en béton fretté.
English: Former Menier chocolate factory in Noisiel, Seine-et-Marne, France: the new chocolate factory building, so called “the Cathedral”.
Built in 1906 in reinforced concrete (béton fretté). Architect: Stephen Sauvestre, in collaboration with Armand Considère. A concrete bridge so-called Pont Hardi across the Marne River links this building to the other plants.
This building is inscrit au titre des monuments historiques de la France. It is indexed in the base Mérimée, a database of architectural heritage maintained by the French Ministry of Culture, under the reference PA00087175 .
