| Description |
English: Chiswell from the Cliffs 2 This foreshortened view shows the village of Chiswell with the Coastguard helicopter, National Sailing Academy marina, Portland Harbour breakwater and Weymouth beyond. The view extends to settlements in the village of Bincombe and, to the far left, the scar in the Ridgeway resulting from the Weymouth Relief Road. This road hopes to bring traffic to and through Weymouth from next year and, notably, in 2010 to the village and waters of the foreground for the sailing events of the Olympic Games. |
