Description
English: Queen Chinweoke Havilah Ogbonda is a 19-year-old Law Student at the University of Lagos (Unilag) and a Native of Woji town in Obio-Akpor Local Govenment Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. Her hobbies are reading, singing, dancing, shopping and travelling.

Miss Chinweoke Havilah Ogbonda was crowned Miss Rivers state 2016 in Port Harcourt Rivers State. 19 years Miss Chinweoke represented her Local government Obia Akpor very well and later emerged the winner of the 2016 Miss Rivers State Beauty Pageant. The Event was well attended by some well known stars in the Nigerian entertainment industry such as, Alexx Ekubo, Melvin Oduah of Big Brother Africa, Timi Dakolo and Namibias beauty Dillish Matthews, Ex-Big Brother Africa Winner well known dignitaries and other guests.

Miss Chinweoke Havilah Ogbonda said she would use her platform as to create awareness on the Health challenges faced by women ( such as breast cancer, cervical cancer etc.) and also reach out to the home of the less fortunate and elderly in Rivers State.

She will be kicking off her Pet Project in April 2016 with a CLEAN WATER PROJECT in Obio-akpor Local Government Area by installing boreholes for her people through her foundation QUEEN CHINWEOKE HAVILAH OGBONDA FOUNDATION. She will also use her Platform to promote the cultures of the good people of Rivers State in order to attract tourists to the state.

"Rivers State, also known as Rivers is one of the 36 states of Nigeria. According to census data released in 2006, the state has a population of 5,185,400 making it the sixth most populous state in the country. Its capital, Port Harcourt is the largest city and is economically significant as the center of Nigerias Oil Industry. It is home to many indigenous ethnic groups; OBIO-AKPOR, IKWERRE, IBANI, OPOBO, ELEME, OKRIKA, KALABARI, ETCHE, OGONI, ENGENNI, PORT HARCOURT and others. The People from Rivers State are known as RIVERIANS

Rivers State is a home of diverse cultural heritage. All the ethnic groups that make up the state have their cultural values and beliefs that make them distinct and unique. The Masquerades display depicts the true nature of the Rivers people as a people endowed with creative talents. Every cultural display of Rivers people has its unique costume that appreciates nature in realty as most of the masks and sculptures show artistic display of creativity.
