English: Chinese Mission House of the M.E. Church, 916 Washington Street. First established in 1868 at 916 Washington as the "Methodist Mission" or "Oriental Home and School" by Otis T. Gibson. This building was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and fire and rebuilt at 940 Washington. The new building at 940 Washington was later renamed "Gum Moon". |
